My professional journey in the music industry took flight when I joined the team of the band and artist Kovacs. Sharon Kovacs, a remarkable artist renowned for her distinctive voice, was at the helm of this musical voyage. I initially assumed the role of driver and merchandiser, but over the years, my responsibilities expanded significantly. I began assisting the tour managers and later took on additional tasks in artist management.

In the waning months of 2018, I received an invitation from Rob Trommelen to join his management company, Mr-T Management. I was offered the position of Day-to-Day Manager, which allowed me to have direct communication with Sharon regarding a wide spectrum of matters. This included not only managing promotional obligations but also actively participating in the release of her new album, “Cheap Smell,” which ultimately saw the light of day in 2019.

At the end of 2019, I had to quit my role in the management team due to the live touring of Mark Lanegan, taking up most of my year.

About Kovacs:
Hailing from Eindhoven, The Netherlands, Kovacs is the creative brainchild of singer-songwriter Sharon Kovacs, who inked a significant contract with Warner Music in 2014. Sharon adopts the moniker “Kovacs” not only for herself but also for her talented backing band. Her music is graced by a soulful voice that echoes the influences of luminaries like Beth Gibbons, Shirley Bassey, and Edith Piaf. In her artistry, Kovacs draws inspiration from legendary figures such as Etta James, Dinah Washington, and Nina Simone. Her debut full-length album, “Shades Of Black,” which emerged in the spring of 2015, offers a captivating blend of ‘night club soul,’ jazz, and R&B, solidifying her place in the musical landscape.
